Connie Bombaci, author of Hogan's Hope: A Deaf Hero's Inspirational Quest for Love and Acceptance, will be visiting the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at the University of Delaware for an appearance and book signing.
This event is free and open to the public. Her deaf pup, Judea, will accompany Connie and demonstrate how wonderful and smart our special dogs can be. Using American Sign Language, Judea is able to understand what she is being told and to establish a warm and connected relationship with her human family and friends.
Connie and Judea's mission to keep hope alive for everyone. The belief is that anything can be achieved when we choose hope.
