THE EVENT IS STILL ON.
Attend if you are able.
The internationally award-winning Hogan's Hope books will be in the 70th Annual Stonington Village Fair. Author Connie Bombaci will personally sign books for visitors and introduce you to Elsie, her sweet deaf Dalmatian.
The Stonington Village Fair is a regional time-honored tradition drawing thousands annually. The first Village Fair was held on August 14th, 1952, to commemorate the 1814 Battle of Stonington. With the assistance of more than 100 volunteers, this popular community event brings together locals and tourists alike for a fun-filled day of games, music, food, and crafts. Entry is free for all!
Peruse local artists, makers, and crafter booths in our beloved artisan row. Featuring oil paintings, jewelry, henna, housewares, clothing, one-of-a-kind gifts, and more, you are sure to find something beautiful to take home.
Each year, we have some fantastic bands and artists play a set under the music tent! Grab some food and a delicious loaf of Portuguese Sweet Bread and lounge by the band (or put on your dancing shoes!) for a great afternoon.
