Deaf dogs can learn just as well as any hearing dog.
Barnes and Noble in West Hartford will be hosting Connie and deaf dog, Judea, to demonstrate just how smart deaf dogs are and what great family members they can be with the love and acceptance they deserve. Connie will also be available to sign her newly published book, Hogan's Hope: A Deaf Hero's Inspirational Quest for Love and Acceptance.
A special addition is that the Connecticut Humane Society will be in attendance to distribute rescue and adoption information about the exemplary work done to find forever homes for thousands of needy pets. Visitors will be able to seek answers to questions regarding the adoption process and other pet related facts and care.
Connie and Judea's mission is to strengthen the belief that with hope anything is possible.
